My Texas Ecoregion was the High Plains. Some of its producers are the sugarberry, mesquite, and cottonwood. Some of the consumers of this region include the badger, Pinyon mouse, swift fox, Hognose snake, and the Swainson’s hawk. an example of a herbivore in this region is the Mule deer. A carnivore in this region is the Hognose snake. An omnivore in this region is the swift fox that eats both plants and animals. My region is number 9 on this map below. The climate of this region is mild winters and hot summers.
